Introducing the "Player of the Month" Award at Chess Time!

CHESS TIME,
We are excited to announce the launch of our "Player of the Month" award starting from September 2024, a new initiative designed to recognize and celebrate the dedication and enthusiasm of our students.

Award Overview:

• Title: Player of the Month

• Criteria: The student who plays the maximum number of rapid rated games in a month on lichess will be honored with this award.

• Tracking: To be eligible, students must be part of the class group on Lichess. This allows us to accurately track and verify their game activity.

  How It Works:

  1. Join the Class Group: Ensure you are a member of our class group on Lichess to enable us to monitor your game play effectively.

  2. Play Regularly: Participate in as many games as possible throughout the month. Each game played contributes to your chances of winning the award.

  3. Monthly Review: At the end of each month, we will review the game statistics to determine which student has played the most games.

     Benefits:

     • Recognition: The Player of the Month will receive a certificate of achievement and be featured on our website and social media channels.

     • Motivation: This award aims to encourage consistent practice and engagement, helping you to improve your skills and deepen your passion for chess.
